Enjoy the 8th in the Nunsense series at the beautifully restored Rio Grande

Theater in Las Cruces with lunch before the 2 pm matinee. The Little Sisters of

Hoboken have been invited to sing at the Hollywood Bowl. They are thrilled at

the prospect until they arrive and realize that they are booked into the Hollywood

Bowl-A-Rama - a bowling alley with a cabaret lounge - and not the famed “Bowl”

they were planning on. As always, things go awry - be prepared to laugh till you

cry! “It’s hugely popular, hilarious, wacky and unpredictable” says ABC TV.

“Vicki Lawrence & Mama” at Spencer Theater, Ruidoso

Laugh till you cry with “Vicki Lawrence & Mama: A Two Woman Show”.

Comedian Vicki Lawrence’s brilliant alter ego “Mama” Thelma Harper is back,

eager to share her observations about political happenings and domestic struggles

with the same spit and vinegar that won hearts across the land. Lawrence, an

Emmy Award-winning actress, will also be on stage, dispensing her savvy humor

and performance memories from her cherished time on “The Carol Burnett Show”

(1967-1978) and in her own spin-off series, “Mama’s Family” (1983-1990). The

show is a multi-media stand-up comedy production with Lawrence in the first half

and the support-hose-wearing, sassy senior citizen Mama in the second half.
